Belinda Dickinson house sat my cat, Cosmo, and apartment for approximately 9 weeks from 3 February to 7 April 2024 through Happy House Sitters. From the initial interview and then the meet and greet at my apartment it was clear that firstly, Belinda has an affinity with animals, secondly that she has a focus on reliability and trustworthiness from both sides, and lastly, she prides herself on being clean and house proud. Throughout the house sit Belinda communicated regularly on our agreed medium - WhatsApp in my case as I was overseas. I received photos and updates of Cosmo, and questions occasionally about the workings of the house. The communication was regular so that I knew everything was going well, however not prolific, which was great. Belinda’s questions around Cosmo’s personality, sleep routines, health and care needs were thorough. It was clear that Belinda loves pets, understands them and knows how to care for them, and spoil them occasionally. I found that she had needed to replenish the cat treats and cat grass supply. On returning home I found my apartment cleaner and more organised than when I left. Belinda was intuitive and able to troubleshoot and solve a few issues without escalating, such as a toilet issue, and so I felt my place was in very safe hands. On the day I returned Belinda called to give me a thorough handover, and also advised she enjoyed the sit, achieving her goals for this period of time. I found Belinda to be lovely and I can’t speak highly enough of this house sit. I recommend her for any other house sit endeavours.

Such peace of mind knowing my cat and home were being taken such good care of whilst I was overseas. I would highly recommend Belinda as a house sitter. Very happy with Belinda and would invite her back again for my next trip.
