We are a retired, married couple who love travelling Australia in our caravan with our NZ Collie dog, Illy.
We own our home in Deception Bay, Queensland, having moved from Tasmania in 2017 where we owned a house on a large block in a semi-rural area. We are well versed in what is required of house/pet sitters as we had housesitters in our home in Tassie when we went on our trips.
We are responsible, non smokers and pet lovers. Between us we have owned and/or cared for large and small dogs, cats, sheep, horses and chooks. Our dog is a 13 year old girl, very quiet and gentle. She gets on well with people and animals and is used to living with poultry (we had backyard free-range chooks) and in close proximity to sheep and cattle. She is respectful of cats also.
We are both fit and able to carry out light gardening, lawnmowing etc. and we would care for your home and animals as we would our own.
This is our first venture into house-sitting so we don't have references from owners, however we could provide references from neighbours whose pets we have cared for when they were on vacation.
