About
In a nutshell: We are a professional couple looking to house sit in Sydney within a 1 hour public transport commute to the CBD. We love animals.
Experience: House sitting for dogs and cats young and old, including training, administering medication, and behavioural issues. We have also sat dangerous dogs and rescues so are confident carers.
We are non-smoking, clean, and love a good meal at home. Matt is a solicitor working in the city I am a behaviour analyst working with special needs children. I work mainly in schools, I do a lot of work from home (especially in school holidays) so I am ideal for pets that need a bit of extra attention.

Who we are:
We are a down to earth, quiet, newly married, professional couple in our late 20's who love to spend a cozy night at home together (furry cuddles are always a huge bonus). We LOVE animals and like to borrow Matts parents dog (Shelby, a 4yo black lab) so that we can go to dog friendly beaches (our favourite is Sirius Cove) for a play and a swim. We love music, Matt is a member of a local Sydney choir and we are both members of a North Shore operetta company. We did our undergraduate and post graduate studies here, and we have lived and worked here for 8 years. We are Sydney locals who are invested in the community.
Why we house sit:
Matt and I are a young married couple. We have big dreams before we settle and have children and house sitting is helping us save for the future we see for ourselves. We love animals so house and pet sitting made a lot of sense to us. House sitting is our lifestyle now. We enjoy it and we will probably continue to house sit until children are on the table for us.
Our day jobs:
Matthew is a solicitor full-time and I am a therapist for kids with special needs, my education and training also applies to animal behaviour, so I love doing training.
I am usually back at home periodically throughout the day on those days I am out, and I do a lot of office work from home, so I'm an ideal fit for any pet who needs extra attention during the day. I do a lot of work in schools so work almost full time from home during school holidays.
Sitting Experience and other relevant skills:
We started sitting full time in April 2016. In that time we have sat rescue dogs, a dangerous dog, and dogs with less interesting histories. We have also sat grumpy cats and cats who love to cuddle. We have experience administering medication to both for heart and thyroid conditions. References available on request.
We have also done a big sit of 3 dogs and two cats, so are not afraid of sits that require a bit of extra work.
