I am an independent, reliable, animal loving, professional woman (36), currently house sitting in Adelaide. I like to go to the beach and relax on the weekends. I play sport, I like to keep fit and active, I love coffee and I like to live a healthy lifestyle. My 3yr old Golden Retriever comes along for the ride. She’s trained and very well behaved. I am hoping to gain long term house sits in Adelaide in 2022 to save and establish my own business. Tara McDermott house sat in our home unit in Castle Hill, Sydney and looked after our older male cat, Smoky, while we were away on two 5 week caravan holidays in 2017. Right from the outset, Tara replied promptly to our Happy House Sitters Ad and communicated with us easily as we arranged a pre-house sit meeting. We were very impressed with her as a personable, mature young woman with excellent house sitting references. While we were away, Tara sent us updates and photos of our pride and joy and looked after our home unit as if it were her own. She watered our plants and collected our mail. On our return our home unit was was as clean and well cared for as when we left and Smoky was a happy cat. We would recommend Tara highly as a house sitter. She is very trustworthy and loves animals. Tara was amazing with our not so perfect cat, Buddy. We had to take an extended trip overseas only 3 months after taking him on from a rescue shelter. She rose to the challenge and made us feel completely at ease. She looked after our apartment for us and we came home to a much calmer cat! Thank you Tara xx

There's one word to sum up Tara - and that's awesome! Tara looked after our 3 very spoilt cats for 2.5 weeks while we were in Hawaii. She sent us regular snap chats of our babies as she knew we would be missing them terribly. We came home to a very tidy house & well fed kitties. I will use Tara again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a house sitter with animals
