Hi there, I have recent house-sitting experience looking after two cats, two dogs at one place and two dogs and chickens at another. I have also had experience house-sitting rabbits. I like cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits and open to looking after other animals too! I have experience with my own horses too! I am a teacher by training who is seeking house sits in VIC or NSW school holidays (I am studying online and working freelance) as I have family in Melbourne - I sometimes stay with them too but nice to have space. I am currently employed and can supply work references. I myself am a home owner with 2 homes in NSW and VIC (rented via typical means through an agency) and a home in the Snowy Mountains,,. I have worked as a teacher most of my life with a short two year stint working for two churches in Children's Ministry. I have attached my written reference from this position. I have experience with animals - I have had a cat and dog in the past as well as chickens - but only have a horse at the present moment which will be looked after by people who look after my home when I come to Melbourne / VIC or NSW for house-sitting. I am familiar with Melbourne as I grew up in this place, living in South Yarra (going to South Yarra Primary as a child) and then attending McRobertson Girls' High too. I have family (cousin & his family) in Williamstown who can vouch for me and I also house sit for them when they have been overseas, previously looking after their rabbit. I am seeking about short term holiday stints throughout the year although open to discussion! I also have an 8 year old child who does NOT write on walls or mess up the place - he is well behaved but a typical child who loves animals too. ... he is either homeschooled or does school by remote learning...it is only myself and my child (no boyfriends and definitely not be bringing men home). I am not a party person nor do I smoke. I am a pretty quiet person who likes to have a few close friends around me and I have friends and family in Melbourne already and happy to entertain at their home or have quiet dinners at house sit home. I like reading, writing and movies so a bit of a home-body. I am pretty clean and have worked in house-keeping in 5 star hotels and currently volunteer my services now at my local church in cleaning. I like keeping a tidy garden and happy to water plants, mow lawns etc. I love walking dogs and keeping fit. I am happy to look after most animals but prefer animals which are okay with children.
