Hi! I'm friendly, respectful, responsible, conscientious, clean, and an experienced housesitter. I would be happy to look after your home and pets.
I've been working for a not-for-profit renewable energy advocacy organisation as a community organiser for the last several years. I loved my job, but it was exhausting, and so I'm taking a long-overdue lengthy break to recharge. So far I've spent this downtime helping people out by house-sitting in a number of places, while also keeping up several hobbies.
I grew up with dogs, walking and feeding them every day, but I've also had experience living with and looking after other pets. I'm currently based in WA, but I've recently completed house-sits in Sale (VIC), Melbourne (VIC), Busselton (WA), the Blue Mountains (NSW), Glebe (NSW), Lane Cove (NSW), Waterloo (NSW), Epping (NSW), a second one in Sale (VIC), in Epping (NSW) and in Parramatta (NSW). Across all of these I've looked after dogs, cats, chickens, gardens, and, of course, the houses themselves. I have some references that I've attached to my profile.
I'm usually an outgoing, active and outdoorsy person, though I'm fairly quiet when at home. I will happily spend my time looking after your house and pets, going for walks and going out to spend some time with friends.
I haven't yet applied for a police check, but I'm happy to if you need.
