MY EXPERIENCE
I was raised country-style — on dirt roads and tank water, with a lifestyle of ticks, leeches, and acres and acres of freedom — so I'm competent and well versed in country life. These days I'm a city dweller with my own digital creative business which affords me the luxury of working from where ever I choose. So I'm not a house-sitter who's looking for a free roof; I'm a self-sufficient soul looking to experience life in lots of locations and to meet lots of people along the way. I love running through the mountains, along trails, and beachside so locations like these are bonuses for me.
YOUR BONUS
I work from "home" so I'm always on-hand and ready to deal with any situations that might arise at your home and/or give your animals full-time care, attention, and affection. After-all your home is my home while you're away, and I take that responsibility very seriously.
MY TRAVEL
I'm happy to travel far & wide to housesit. Given how far & wide this great land is sometimes that comes at some/great cost (for me), therefore time & travel costs/compensation are a consideration for me if my travel to you is significant.
MY GUARANTEE
I'm a very experienced house-sitter who takes great pride in how I treat your home and animal-family. I consider myself above-average in capacities of kindness, compassion, consideration, and care. I therefore no longer house sit for free. My experiences in free house sitting is that both parties often believe the other party is getting the best deal which often prevents a positive outcome for either party. Also: anyone can housesit for free, and many do. But I'm not anyone. I care enormously and consider house-sitting your home and loved animals a *huge responsibility* I take very seriously. So I exchange my housesitting services for a fee (up-to 14 days = $20 per day; more than 14 days = $15 per day). This guarantee fee adds responsibility for me and assurance for you that I will be the best housesitter I can be for you, your home, and your beautiful animal-family. (It also helps cover my expenses: I still have to pay my own personal rent while I'm house sitting yours)
