We are a senior couple looking for some house sitting opportunities while our own house is being rebuilt, which is expected to take most of 2018. Frank is retired but Sharon is still working.Our own two dogs went to the big kennel in the sky last year, after long and spoiled lives. We do miss them and would love to mind someone else's dog (or cat or other pet) for a time. We are a responsible, mature couple who will look after your place as if it was our own - we know what needs to be done for pets, gardens and cleaning and all the usual household duties. We don't smoke or drink, and generally prefer a life of quiet enjoyment and tranquility.We occasionally house sit or mind dogs for friends who would give a reference if needed.We can stay for medium to longish periods; very short stays would probably not be of interest. We would prefer to remain in or around The Sutherland Shire area, but other locations nearby such as St George or close to work in the Botany or Eastern beaches areas would also suit us.
