Greg Wood house sat for us from the 10th February to the 16th February 2018. He cared for our 3 bedroom home, in-ground swimming pool, extensive garden and much loved German Shepherd with exceptional professionalism. Despite this only being a fairly short sit Greg was eager and keen to help. His love and experience with German Shepherds was evident from his first walk with Shiloh. She is strong willed but adored him and responded well to his direction. Greg bought in the mail, put out the dustbins, watered and generally maintained our garden, cleaned the pool, vacuumed our home, stripped, washed and re-made our bed and of course fed and walked Shiloh daily. I have known Greg for over 20 years. I originally met Greg when we were working together in the Metropolitan Ambulance. I have since then become friends with Greg and have remained in touch - after he retired from the ambulance. I would be happy to recommend Greg as a house sitter. In the time I have known him I have found him to be a reliable, methodical and friendly person. He has skills in many areas including his medical background but he also has many trade skills and has assisted me in repairs and maintenance of my property for many years. I am sure he would be more than happy to do this work for any places he looks after (by agreement) as he enjoys it and is very good at it He also has a love of animals and for many years cared for his own pets. He is a very clean and tidy person - I have never seen anybody with a workshop quite as clean as Greg's. He lived on a property with acreage for many years so also has skills in looking after larger properties with larger amounts of land. I have known Greg professionally for many years as a paramedic, and in his role of peer support for critical incidents.. On a personal level I have entrusted Greg with my faithful companion, a German Shepherd dog. He has a knack with animals, and I would feel completely happy for him to take care of my current pets if needed. Greg has integrity, honest.y and is completely reliable. As a house sitter he would do exactly as you ask, and perhaps even fix a few little things around the house if you wanted him to. I happily recommend Greg as a house sitter.
