I am a recently retired teacher, keen on reading, listening to the ABC, walking, golf and keeping fit and healthy. I maintain a small but prolific veggie garden and enjoy sharing and cooking the produce. I have lived on the Mornington Peninsula for almost 40 years and am presently looking for a new home in the area so this has opened up the opportunity to house and pet sit. I am a friendly and cheerful person, reliable, organised and tidy and I would look after your home extremely well as I understand how important this is. Dogs have always been an incredibly important part of my life. My son’s mischievous and energetic daschund has been my constant companion, and twice daily 40 minute walks kept us both happy. Unfortunately they have recently moved interstate and I do miss the contact.. My daughter’s Boston Terriers often come to stay and I visit them weekly. I have also lived with and loved a range of purring cats from pound pusses to a magnificent Persian and very clever Tonkinese. House sitting is an ideal way to explore new and familiar areas, particularly through walking dogs and meeting other dog walkers. I have current police check documentation and personal references can be supplied on request. ### I will not be available from April 23 until May 27.
