Hi! Recently moved back to Sydney from Singapore, I'm currently staying with my parents in the Blue Mountains - I adore them, but would love to be closer to the city where my work is (and get a little space!). I've grown up with animals and had pets all my life: dogs (kelpies, staffies, weimaraners, and delightful mongrels), cats (including rescue cats), chickens, ducks and even goats. And I love them all - although weimaraners can indeed be tricky to run with when they're that big. I enjoy running (I've converted my parents' kelpie to a Park Run dog), I do a lot of reading, and I am a very keen cook (having worked professionally as a chef I am pretty good at cleaning up after myself, too). I am currently in training for a long hike later in the year so I rarely have late nights or overindulge, and am a non-smoker. I have housesat for friends many times over the years and lived independently and with housemates and a partner - all to be expected when you get to my age I guess. I can supply references for these informal housesits, and although I have used Happy House Sitters many times in the past it's all been as a home owner / renter - so I appreciate the concerns and the requirements from the other side of the fence.
