We are looking for a pet and house sitter to take care of our much loved family dachshund for approximately four weeks from 28 April to end of May. We live in the rural residential locality of Wamboin, NSW, on an elevated 9 acre property with views. Wamboin is a friendly rural community close to the village of Bungendore (20 minutes away by car) and the larger city of Queanbeyan, which has many major city attractions; live theatre, supermarkets, library, coffee shops, medical facilities and a diverse multicultural community. Wamboin edges the Australian Capital Territory and our property is just 30 minutes by car to the heart of Canberra. Our home is comfortable and takes advantage of valley views.
We prefer a retired or semi-retired person/s because our dog is used to company and cuddles every day. Some familiarity with rural living would help.
