Hi folks

I have a Malamute boy called Malibu (Bu for short) and a Tabby cat called Nami. My cabin is next to the forest and close to the beach (about 150m track through the forest). The beach is 24 hours off-leash for dogs. The cabin is small but practical and comfortable - lounge, kitchen, dining, two small bedrooms, bbq area and mod cons (TV, broadband, sound system), but the toilet is outside. Quiet location, friendly community, abundant nature... roos grazing daily, black cockatoos, sea eagles, dolphins, whales passing over winter.

Malibu is 8 years old, mature, obedient, sweet, clever, funny, very well-socialised, and has many canine and human friends locally. Nami is very affectionate and low maintenance. They are good friends.

You need to be experienced with dogs - obedience, socialisation and a good leader. Having lived rural/semi-rural would be a plus - rainwater, pumps, septic systems, snakes etc. A couple of plants might need watering if there's no rain over summer months. For shopping and restaurants etc Batemans Bay town is about 15 minutes by car (you will need your own transport). If you have a well-socialised dog then he/she could probably stay too.

I go overseas once or twice a year and a regular sitter would be great.
