Looking for a gentle and quiet person or couple to mind our 1 bdr cottage and pets for 5 - 6 weeks in sunny Albury.
We have 3 small indoor rabbits and a budgie that all hang out together in an enclosed space (playpen). They will need to be let outside (not the budgie!) for supervised exercise daily, fed and water changed, and their litter tray changed each day.
I will give you some cash to buy fresh greens each week from the shops, I also tend to pick them long fresh grass and mint from the garden.
They like to be patted gently, but not so fond of being picked up and cuddled. They are very bonded to each other.
We also have two older rabbits who have opted for a free range lifestyle outside. Daily feeding and ensuring all gates are kept closed. Making sure their hutch has straw and that there is water available.
Some watering of pots is required and you can mow the lawns if you want to!
There are two historical cottages on the property - you will be staying in the rear cottage; the front cottage operates as a bed and breakfast so there will be guests staying during your sit, however it's not too busy in May and your cottage has it's own private fenced section and rear verandah so the arrangement is not invasive.
The location is great and the gardens of the property are beautiful and tranquil.
20mins walk to Dean St, a bus stop outside to Lavington and to town.
An older but working bicycle is available for your use.
Unfortunately this sit is not appropriate for families or for other pets.
