Situated on 40 acres in the foothills of the Yarra Valley, My property is near Kurth Kiln Regional Park, Warburton Trail, wineries and the beautiful Yarra Ranges. The property is predominantly native bush, with 10 acres of cleared land for the two horses. The farm house has been recently renovated, has all mod cons and is heated by an efficient wood fire. Wood for the fire will be provided.The house sitter would need to feed and oversee the horses, plus provide exercise/companionship for my two dogs - one small foxy cross and one young kelpie. The kelpie, in particular, requires daily exercise and stimulation.I also have a rosella in care, that requires food & water topped up.I have people on hand for support for anything that may arise.
Pets & farm animals
Horses: Check rug is on properly making up a bucket of feed each day and feeding them this. Rosella: checking/topping up food and water. Dogs: daily exercise, feeding and companionship.
