We are looking for a lovely house sitter to mind our friendly animals for just over a week in September / October. We have a large 3 bedroom home in the centre of Katoomba, in the beautiful Blue Mountains. The train is about a 10 minute walk away and Echo Point (the three sisters lookout) is 15 minutes walk., shops and cafes are 5 minutes walk. Basically you can walk everywhere from our house, The house is sunny and warm (about half double glazed) and we have central heating as well as reverse cycle room heaters and portable gas heaters if you just want to warm a small space. The living area is so sunny that we rarely need heating in the day even in our cold winters.
Our main priorities are that you care for our standard poodle (who will need walking daily about 30mins - 1 hour) and our two indoor cats (no litter tray involved as they have access to an enclosed yard). We would like to leave on Sep 28 and probably return on Oct 9 but at this stage are slightly flexible, so please feel free to get in touch regarding dates.
