This is all dependent on the current coronavirus rules for interstate travel. Hopefully by August the closed borders will not be required,
3 bedroom house on a 1 acre property at Mt Macedon in a garden setting which is approximately 70 km north of Melbourne.
You will need a car to access shops, although a coffee shop and pub are easy walking distance.
Access to Melbourne via V/Line train on the Bendigo line (approx 1 hour).
Heating is a wood fire box (like a kanara) which makes the environment very cosy. It is preferable that you have experience with wood fires as you will need to keep it going 24/7 at this time of year.
Pets & farm animals
One fluffy cat that requires feeding and patting when and if she sees fit.
Also feeding the birds that wander by daily (except the cockies).
Sitters must be a "cat person" and more importantly cats must like you.
House Tasks
Watering of garden should not be required but watering of pots (lots, both indoor and outdoor) will be required. The garden is set up with a dripper system on timers but the pots must be hand watered. The watering setup uses tanks and a pump (which should be transparent to you),
