Hi, I am researchuing this option for my 2 rescued standard poodles.. oh and newly renovated home, 2 km from the beautiful Pt Phillip Bay beach.
Wilbur is a 30 kilo 8 years old, and loves a run and Lily is a frail 13 year old girl with a few health issues. I am happy to leave my car to ferry them to the best parks in the area, if that is an option too. My son is quite close for any urgent issues, as I realise an old frail dog may scare some people..My home is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, with a beautiful back courtyard, and lush front garden. All on a timed watering system. I do however have an extensive collection of indoor plants if you want to water.. but Im really not that fussed with one week they will be fine. I do have another time slot i require a sitter in May 2022, and intent to holiday more regularly from then.
My area is boring, I mean very, very quiet, but is walking distance from DFO, Aldi, Woolworths. Mentone is also the centre of many diverse dining options, with upmarket Brighton 10 km away, or the excitement of Springvale Asian cusine, 15 km the other way.
