New Year in the Inner West?Enjoy 3 weeks in the Inner West of Sydney in a lovely Federation home caring for our cat, Hendrix, and keeping an eye on the house and garden for us whilst we are away.Home is a 4 bedroom house (only 1 room furnished for a single or two adults sleeping), fully equipped with all comforts including Netflix/Stan/Prime TV, espresso coffee machine, NBN etc. House is lovely and cool in summer months, with living spaces opening onto a covered outdoor seating with BBQ, and garden.There will be one undercover car spot available, and off street parking is unrestricted nearby. Walking distance to multiple train stations and buses makes travel into the city and across Sydney a breeze. Cafes, markets, parks, great food and shops of the surrounding suburbs of Newtown, Enmore, Summer Hill, Marrickville, Leichhardt and Dulwich Hill are all within walking distance or a short drive which makes for a great cosmopolitan lifestyle.Garden & veggies will need a bit of watering in hot weather, and indoor plants the occasional water. Pets & farm animals
Hendrix is our 3.5 year old cat who is super affectionate and friendly - anyone with food is his buddy. He requires simple morning and evening feeds, and basic kitty litter maintenance. He is outdoors by day, but will pop in occasionally to say hello if you are home during the daytime (and to check for treats). Daily pats and plays also appreciated. He sleeps indoors at night (sometimes on the bed) so must be kept inside by sunset/dinner time.
House Tasks
Lawns have an automatic watering system, some pot plants will need topping up especially if it is hot. The small front and back lawns may need doing once or twice with an electric mower. Indoor plants a bit of water occasionally. Mail collected and bins out weekly.
