Our property is a 2 storey house (living upstairs, bedrooms and bathroom downstairs) 100m across a grass reserve from the water at Maloneys Beach. Maloneys Beach is a small northern suburb of Batemans Bay. In May, we plan to resume our lifestyle of 6 months in France and 6 Months in Australia. Our home is easy care, designed to be locked up and left for 6 months at a time. For the past two years we have had a Happy House Sitter look after our dog but they are having a break this year. We trialed another recommended person over Easter but this didn't work out. We know this is now very tight timing and we need to move fast.
Pets & farm animals
We have a very gentle 14 year old dog, Husky/Malinois, much loved by all who know him, and used to living indoors with 1-2 walks a day. He needs a monthly injection (vet 10 mins away by car) and some panadol in the morning.
House Tasks
Deal with unexpected mail. Friends nearby will deal with any emergencies. We have the lawn mowed every month in the colder months and every 2 weeks in the warmer months. Hedges to be trimmed.
