Greetings Housesitters
I’m looking for a mature couple or single person who only needs to water my indoor plants and mow my lawns (no animals etc) on a lovely half-acre property in a quiet street in Crib Point on the Mornington Peninsula of Melbourne.

Also, in an ideal world, we'd love to have the housesitter look after the AirBnb we have on the property, Mark would organise the bookings, but if you (the housesitter) were able to wash and change the sheets and clean up after each guest (and potentially greet new guests when they arrive) that would be amazing. Even be happy to look at paying you a small fee for each guest unless you were happy to include it in the standard house sitting agreement. Would be happy to make it a maximum of 2 guests per week.

I’m heading away for approximately 3 months from around late May/early June through to end of August/early September. The front lawn is easy but the back lawn takes a bit of mowing (I only have a normal lawnmower), though it will be winter so you shouldn’t need to mow too much. People who like to garden would be a bonus as the property always likes any extra TLC but keeping the lawns, indoor plants and basics in check is the minimum to apply.

Apart from that, the house would be yours as you wish.

In addition to the beachy-style 2 bedroom house at the front of the property, there is a small, cottage-style room out back (which we use for Airbnb) and a little studio that’s largely empty. Lots and lots of fruit trees though probably no use to you in the winter.
Would ideally prefer to meet face-to-face prior to making a decision. If that’s not possible, then obviously good references and maybe a Zoom chat at the minimum. Would probably prefer a simple, basic bond arrangement, though the house and furnishings are pretty basic.

Note: My 3 months away is likely to be a yearly occurrence as well as shorter trips of 2-4 weeks a couple of times a year., so potential for an ongoing relationship if things work out.
