Hi, we're a newly retired couple who live in Sydney's inner West. The house is recently close to shops and cafes and wonderful neighbours... Scoot is our four legged boy, he's a cat who loves company, not a cuddle cat but if you're in the house he wants to share the space, that includes bench tops, tables, chairs. As you can tell, the house rules in terms of his access are "flexible". Scoot likes to have access to the outside world during the day however we impose a night curfew, a shake of his food container usually does the trick. Ideally Scoots sitter would work from home or retired and would be happy to keep us updated whilst away and or course, enjoy our home.
Pets & farm animals
Scoot is a desexed male tabby that we adopted 12 years ago from Pet Rescue - he's a real character, not a lap cat but he tends to follow you around the house - and loves human company… he especially enjoys watching us cook - so we allow him on benches… he pretty much as free range!!! we forgive him anything, He is very central to our lives and loves to sit down for a good chat with you... Scoot is an outside cat during the day but has a nighttime curfew ... he loves a play with the various toys we have around, not for long as his attention span is limited.
House Tasks
We'd appreciate it if you could collect the mail, put the bins out, and generally look after the house. No gardening required, it's very low maintenance. Finally we would like you to feed and pat Scoot and keep him company and occasionally play a game of ball with him. He is quite the Beckham!
