Pets & farm animals

We have a delightful (but active) 4 yr old Labradoodle and two elderly sedate Burmese cats. The pets need feeding at night plus locking & unlocking their access to the garden in the morning & evening. Unfortunately our Labradoodle is full of beans and quite free-spirited (read not highly trained). She is super affectionate but tends to bark when not involved in family activities. Some management of her behaviour is required when you are at home - either by letting her sit with you (perhaps on a long lead) or leaving her in her pen, so she cannot run around the house. To avoid disturbing the neighbours, she needs controlling to not allow her out the dog door between 9pm and before 6am (99% of the time she sleeps between these times without issue). The best way to keep the Labradoodle calm is take her for a short daily walk, or drop her up to the local dog park to let her run around for 20 mins. House Tasks

You don't need to do any house-sitting tasks. The house is there for you to enjoy & relax. A cleaner will come weekly & the garden is maintained by our gardener. You just need to put out the rubbish & recycling on a Wednesday night.
