Commencing soon

I have a smallish three bedroom house with a decent sized but low maintenance yard (some lawn that I have a gardener come and mow, and some smallish trees etc) in a nice quiet suburb that's about 20 minutes from the CBD and 30 minutes from the beach.
There are three major shopping centres within half an hour's drive (Tea Tree Plaza is only about 10 minutes away, and has cinemas and restaurants as well as the joy of shopping), and the Barossa wine region is about 40 minutes away.
Inside are two loungerooms, a dining room, a reasonable kitchen and two bathrooms, and outside a large veranda with a outdoor dining table (8 seater), a couch, and a hammock. There's also a little fire stand (and some wood) for chilly days that may require toasting marshmallows... plus a 5 burner gas BBQ if cooking outdoors is your thing.
There's a bus route that takes you to the city in about 40 minutes, which will also take you to Tea Tree Plaza for shopping; locally, there is a small collection of shops at the entrance to my suburb as well as the Ingle Farm shopping centre a 2 minute drive away (good for groceries etc).
The primary responsibilities are caring for the animals in terms of food, water, litterboxes (for the cats - don't worry, no giant litter boxes for the dogs!) and cuddles. Lots of cuddles ??
Aside from leaving the house in a similar state to which you found it, chores are your choice.
In terms of the pets: Minx is my elderly lady cat at 20 yrs old, she's pretty low maintenance apart from needing her dose of medication every second day (easy to administer, it's a liquid and we have a syringe). She spends about 90% of the day asleep, and mainly moves from one heated cat bed to the other one next to it...
Meggs and Cookie are my two young rascals kitties, adopted from a shelter in Nov 2015. They love affection, are still very playful and tend to run around like ninnies a lot... but then do snuggle up and relax for the many hours of sleep per day that cats are required by law to enjoy. They're in perfect health, and are pretty standard care in terms of cats. All the cats are indoors only, and they’re usually pretty good about that.
Kuma is the older dog (though smaller) and is the dominant one of the two; he's intelligent, and sweet, and loves kisses, attention and praise (especially for his good looks). He does get a bit cranky around Loki if there's a chewy treat handed out, mainly because Loki is a thief of unguarded goodies!
Loki is the sweet, easy-going Womble dog who loves kisses, cuddles and affection, and will eat until he explodes if you let him. He is ALWAYS hungry. ALWAYS. ?? Neither dog is aggressive, though they do bark at passersby (especially canine ones) and they do get a bit spooked by little kids and may try to hide. At 12 years old, they settle very quickly once the initial excitement of visitors is over, and are just easy company. If they’re being walked, it’s usually a short one (just around the immediate block, as Loki has a touch of stiffness in his back legs).

Pets & farm animals

See the main description for the details, the basics are: Minx, cat, 20 years old Meggs and Cookie, cats, 1. 1/2 years old Kuma and Loki, dogs, 12 years old They all get along, though Cookie sometimes annoys Meggs and they squabble. But that's a brother and sister thing, i think :)

House Tasks

Primarily caring for the animals, but also collect mail (mailbox out front, so not a big deal) and keep the house in the condition it was in when you arrived. I have a lawn man who mows, so any other gardening is entirely optional. For your comfort (and so that the lawn man doesn't step in doggy poops), scooping poop every three or so days is preferred. (there's a long handled scoop out back).
