We live only 7km from the Melbourne CBD and close to public transport (trams/trains/buses)and shops in a lovely suburb. We have a bright modern 3 br plus office 3 level home with 2 living areas, 2 patios (one up and one down - both are undercover) and one level is a basement/double garage. Our home is inhabited by the two of us and one handsome old Russian Blue cat called Henry. Our main requirement of our housesitter/s is to give Henry lots of love and company, feed him, brush him and poop scoop the litter tray (he is an indoor cat). We would of course quite like the house kept tidy, most certainly the mail collected and the house kept secure, the bins put out and the plants watered but the good news is that we don't really have a garden (it goes down a steep bank to the Moonee Ponds Creek and looks after itself) so no gardening required. We do have a coffee machine!!! (though there are some very good cafes close by)
Pets & farm animals
Henry - a handsome but tatty old Russian Blue male cat who needs lots of love. He has had a tough life and came to us in a very poor state after 6 years as a breeding stud then a couple of years as a feral street cat. He is a scaredy-cat but once he knows you, will give you lots of smooching and purrs. He has health issues after two years living as a feral and requires monitoring but he is a delight to care for and rewards you with as much love as he can give.
