It has come to pass that we are looking for some Superior Farm Caretakers to follow in our previous Caretakers footsteps and join us on our mixed farming property just north of Clare, South Australia!

We have been happily working with Grey Nomads on our property for over three years and have achieved a win / win for both parties and have really enjoyed the experience – as have they!!! We are negotiable and flexible in accommodation requirements which can be discussed but obviously having a property electricity, water and plenty of space are all a forgone! The position would suit mature individuals and farm experience would certainly be an advantage as some of the duties would be feeding the cattle and sheep, general farm duties ie checking the waters, tractor driving, getting sheep to the yards etc as well as swimming pool maintenance, gardening, tending the vegetable garden, driving the ride on lawn mower, as well as looking after our two overindulged Kelpie pooches and chooks – so fresh eggs are always a bonus!

Ideally we would like someone to be able to commit to a 6 months stay or a bit more but are willing to negotiate as this would also allow time to immerse yourselves in the Clare Valley, take trips to the Barossa Valley and generally explore a fascinating part of the country especially if you enjoy wine – which The Valley is famous for!
