We are looking for a considerate house sitter to care for our family home as well as our dog and cat. We will be gone for approximately one month so are looking for someone to look after the house and give short walks to our mature labrador dog. Our car Lola is very loving but generally comes and goes as she pleases so you might only see her once or twice a day.The house is a large, well-kept, and very well located; situated in a great area and close to the 58 tram line that goes straight into the city. We have all the usual amenities plus wireless internet, Netflix and has excellent heating, so no need to worry about the entertainment on chilly Melbourne evenings. We also have a robot vacuum so you won’t have to sweep the floors!
Pets & farm animals
We have a very well-behaved mature labrador dog who enjoys short walks but mainly sleeps. We also have a mature cat who has a catflap so comes and goes by herself. Both are very eager to be fed twice each day. They get on very well and, if you like cuddles, can have one on each side on the sofa.
House Tasks
Short walks for our dog; general tidying; collecting the mail; putting the bins out; indoor plant watering. There are two lawns but neither will really require care during our absence.
