Comfortable 3 bedroom centrally heated house located in the New Town end of Lenah Valley, Hobart, Tasmania. .Very short walk to shops and public transport and a 5min drive/20 min walk to town, the property has an undercover outdoor eating area and a small vegetable garden. Excellent food stores, newsagent/Post Office, cafe and French Patisserie in easy strolling distance and the North Hobart restaurant strip and State Cinema nearby . I have one dog to care for, a very large 10yr old poodle x golden retriever (Groodle) called Archie. He is friendly and affectionate and will need a daily walk, feeding and the chance to hang out with you around the home from time to time. He is an inside/outside companion, sleeps inside (on his own bed or mine while I'm away!) and is house trained and mostly obedient! He is a big dog so I am seeking a non-smoking dog lover, someone who is comfortable walking and being around a big dog and giving him lots of hugs. Caring for Archie is my number 1 concern, collecting the mail would also be appreciated. Thank you for considering this house sit.
Pets & farm animals
Archie the Groodle dog ... as previously described. Arch will need feeding twice a day. He is on anti-inflammatory medication for his arthritis, when needed. One walk a day (no longer than 30mins these days for him) is sufficient but he wouldn't say no to an afternoon/evening stroll as well.
